Michael Langsam brings his distinguished background in hospitality to the world of dentistry, helping to craft the culture of refinement and elevated service that defines Old Moreland Dental. With years of experience cultivating guest-centered excellence, Michael has seamlessly translated the principles of world-class hospitality into the dental setting, ensuring that every interaction reflects grace, intention, and personalized care. His collaboration has been instrumental in establishing Old Moreland Dental as a sanctuary of comfort where guests feel valued, understood, and indulged at every step of their journey. Michael has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University and is a diehard Spartan. He enjoys traveling, great wine and doing any outdoor activity with his wife Pam and son Bryce.
Dental Hygienist
Kelly Paxton moved to the Lowcountry in January 2000 from South Bend, Indiana, and has proudly called it home ever since. She is blessed with two amazing daughters who keep her busy on volleyball courts and soccer fields. When she’s not cheering them on, Kelly enjoys boating, spending time outdoors, and taking long weekend getaways. With more than 22 years of clinical experience, Kelly has a special focus on periodontal therapy and a true passion for patient care. In May 2024, she earned her Master of Science degree from the Gene W. Hirschfeld School of Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University, furthering her dedication to the ever-changing field of dentistry.
Dental Assistant
A proud Lowcountry native, Taylar brings both skill and heart to her work as a dental assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina Beaufort before pursuing her passion for dentistry, completing her dental studies in Boston, Massachusetts. Dedicated to making every patient feel comfortable and cared for, she combines clinical expertise with a genuine, compassionate approach. Outside of the office, Taylar enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors—especially relaxing at the beach—and cherishing time with her husband Jud, their beloved dog Bei, and their families in Charleston and Alabama. She can't wait to meet you and create memorable moments, lasting relationships, and provide world-class dentistry with world-class hospitality.
Dental Assistant
I am a dedicated dental assistant originally from New Hampshire with over five years of experience in providing high-quality patient care and creating a welcoming experience. I enjoy supporting both patients and providers by combining my technical skills with compassion and I’m always eager to learn new techniques to enhance the patient experience. Outside of work I enjoy exploring nature with my yellow lab Ellie and spending time with friends and family.
Guest Concierge
Lauren brings a warm and welcoming presence to the team at Old Moreland Dental. A Utah native, she has lived in Bluffton since 2021 and transitioned here for her career in luxury hospitality. Lauren truly enjoys greeting our guests with a smile and ensures comfort and care throughout their visit. In her free time, she loves exploring the Lowcountry, spending time with loved ones, and creative work like cooking, designing jewelry, and gardening.
Treatment Coordinator
As Old Moreland Dental's Treatment Coordinator, Lindsay brings over 7 years of experience in hospitality to her role, anticipating needs and creating exceptional guest experiences. Known for her warmth and approachability, Lindsay serves as the connection between patients and the clinical team, making sure every detail is handled with care. Whether she’s coordinating treatment plans, managing schedules, or answering questions, Lindsay is committed to making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Outside of the office, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs, cooking, getting creative with crafting projects, and being outdoors. Fun fact: Lindsay went skydiving the very first time she ever flew in an airplane!
Treatment Coordinator
Lindsay Tarrance is a Treatment Coordinator at Old Moreland Dental, where she ensures every patient feels welcomed, understood, and supported from the moment they walk through the door. With over 15 years of experience in the aesthetics industry, she brings a strong background in patient coordination and front office leadership to the dental field. Before transitioning to dentistry, Lindsay worked in private aesthetic practices, advancing from Patient Coordinator to Practice Manager. These roles sharpened her skills in communication, organization, and delivering outstanding patient care. She loves building relationships with patients and helping them feel confident and cared for every step of the way. Outside the office, Lindsay is all about family life. She and her husband stay busy keeping up with their two amazing kids—a 12-year-old daughter who loves theater and an 8-year-old son who plays soccer. Most evenings and weekends, you will find her cheering them on from the audience or sidelines. Her family also enjoys traveling together and creating lasting memories wherever they go.
